Take time out of your busy schedule and apply a mask at least once a week. Here are some of our favorites and why we use them: Masks feel soothing and healing on the skin. They also help for further relaxation, tightening and firming the skin. At the Facial Bungalow we leave our masks on for 10-15 minutes during our facials and while this is on we give our clients a hand, arm and shoulder massage. We use an Aloe and Azulene gel mask for sensitive skin types that battle with rosacea, inflamed acne and are dehydrated.
A clay mask with sulphur, glycolic acid, and salicylic acid is used for acne facials to dry up the acne and pull out anything left in the extracted areas. A mask with a blend 3 different clays, Montmorillonite, Bentonite and Kaolin Is used for soothing and balancing Oily/Congested Skin battling with breakouts.
