Your consultation begins with a discussion about your specific skin concerns, goals, products you are currently using and your lifestyle. Through a series of comprehensive questions we will give advice on treatment plans and product structure to help you design a program that will ensure you reach your goals.
STEP 2: What do we see in your skin?
The discussion of your skin concerns (and what we can see via Skype™, FaceTime®) will drive our diagnosis of your skin type.
STEP 3: How do you feed your skin?
Your esthetician will review the products you are using, what will help you adjust your routine to better serve your skin, and help you decide if you need to remove some steps or add in some steps to help you reach your skincare goals.
STEP 4: What’s in your cabinet?

STEP 5: What’s your sunscreen IQ?
Sunscreen is the best anti-aging product and should be worn every day and reapplied (according to the FDA every 2 hours). Feel free to ask all your questions about this matter.
STEP 6: What’s your skin prescription?
By the end of your consultation your Esthetician will have a plan to help get you to the place you want to be. She will provide you with a treatment plan. She will provide you with a skincare routine using some of your current products and suggesting others to repair your skincare concerns from the Trina Renea Skincare line to reveal healthy, glowing and beautiful skin for a lifetime.

1. Are Trina Renea Skincare products safe for sensitive skin?
Most products in the Trina Renea Skincare line are safe for sensitive skin. Please email trinareneaskincare@gmail.com to confirm the product you are interested in is safe.
2. Does Trina Renea Skincare provide samples?
There are no samples of Trina Renea Skincare. You can not see results of a product from a 2-3 day sample. Results from products are seen after 6-8 weeks. It’s best to buy a full size bottle and finish it. Then decide if you feel a difference in your skin.
3. When do my products expire?
FDA approves products shelf life for 1 year.
4. Are Trina Renea Skincare products sold online only?

5. How many treatments will I need in order to achieve the desired results?
It depends on what we are treating. The best thing to do would be to come in for a consultation to discuss your concerns. Then your Esthetician will come up with a plan to help you achieve your goals. At this time you will discuss how many treatments it will take.
6. Why do I need a facial?
As we age our cell turnover slows down. So instead of your cells turning over every 28-30 days, like they did in your teens and early 20’s, as we age they go at a slower rate. This is the start of the aging process.
In a facial we do a deep exfoliation of dead skin cells at a level you can not achieve at home. This encourages cell turnover. Keeping your skin younger, longer. We also extract all clogged pores safely to not leave scars behind. This will help keep your skin smooth. Both exfoliation and extractions will help your products to penetrate the skin better. When you chose an Esthetician, make sure she is knowledgeable in skincare products. She will be your skincare concierge. She can help you chose products that will work on your particular skin.
7. Why do I need a professional skin therapist?
A professional can help you make decisions for your skin because she has the knowledge of skincare ingredients and skin types. She can take care of your skin and help you achieve your goals and concerns. She can guide you in what products would work on your skin to keep you looking your best.
8. How soon will I start to see results from my facial?
You should start seeing results after the first facial. A good esthetician will set you up with proper home care products to help you look your best. If you follow what she says and continue on with her recommendations in facials and products your skin will look amazing.
9. How can seasonal changes affect my skin?
Usually in winter peoples skin gets more dry due to heaters and cold air. Sometimes people need to had an oil serum to their routine or a richer moisturizer in the winter.
10. Is animal testing performed on any of the Trina Renea products?
Never.
11. Why is an eye cream important to use as part of my daily regimen?
You don’t necessarily need a separate product labeled eye cream, eye gel, or eye serum if you’re already using a well-formulated facial moisturizer or serum—those can absolutely work effectively around the eye area, too, as long as skin around your eyes is the same type as skin on the rest of your face. If you are dealing with deep crows feet or dark circles you may want to find an eye cream that has ingredients in it that are specific to the eye area. The eye area is sensitive and needs special attention. Your Esthetician will be able to guide you.
12. Do your products contain fragrance?
Trina Renea Skincare does not contain added fragrance. Any scent coming from the product is natural and plant based.
13. What is the shelf life of Trina Renea products?
The shelf life is guaranteed for 1 year.
14. When will I see results?
You can start to see real results after using a product for 6-8 weeks.

Yes
16. What should I do if I have sensitive skin?
Consult with your Esthetician on what products are suitable for sensitive skin. If you are not seeing an Esthetician then your best bet would be to stick with products that are labeled “sensitive”.
17. Can I use your products if I’m pregnant or nursing?
You can. You just want to avoid two ingredients. Salicylic acid and Vitamin A (retinol, retin-A). Some Trina Renea Skincare includes these ingredients. Please email or call us so we can tell you which items to avoid.
18. Are your products “alcohol free”?
Yes
19. Can I try your products before I buy?
Often we will use these products during a facial so you can feel them on your skin. You need to use the product for 6-8 weeks to really see results.

21. What is your return policy?
If the product is open and used we can not return it. If the product is not used you can return it within 30 days.
22. If I stop using the products, will it reverse the improvements in my skin?
If you stop using a product that has improved your skin then your skin will slowly go back to the way it was before using it.
23. I have oily skin, do I need a moisturizer?
Depends on if you are dehydrated. We would need to see your skin to give you an answer to that question.
24. How do I know if I have sun damage?
You will begin to see brown spots and redness in your skin. Most people have sun damage under their skins surface from unprotected sun exposure. It usually starts to show up in your 40’s. It’s important to always protect your skin from sun.
